The Television Music License Committee is pleased to welcome Christine Merritt as its Director of Operations.

Christine Merritt joins TVMLC with more than 35 years of experience in association management and public policy
advocacy. She served for 23 years as President of the Ohio Association of Broadcasters, where she represented Ohio’s
commercial and non-commercial radio and television stations at the state and federal levels on a wide range of regulatory, legislative, and operational issues — giving her a strong understanding of the challenges and priorities of local TV stations. During her OAB tenure, Christine also served as President of the National Alliance of State Broadcasters Associations, as Vice President of Industry Relations for the Broadcast Education Association, and on the board of the Alliance for Women in Media. Before joining OAB, she held association and government affairs roles with The Ohio Manufacturers Association and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and began her career as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives.
